PP WOVEN BAGS
This type of material is extremely demanding in the recycling process. Firstly, the contents of these bags are quite different and often comprise the remains of abrasives, sand, cement, ceramics or glass, all of which further complicates the recycling process. Secondly, the shredding process itself is somewhat more demanding than with standard applications, due to the properties of the material and the mentioned possible contaminations in the input material. Accordingly, all positions in the recycling system are exposed to additional wear and stress, as well as possible damage. MAPA ReTech provides additional protection of machines against wear for such specific design tasks, including additional packages of spare parts and consumables, providing continuous and minimal downtime of the recycling process due perhaps to unforeseen situations and system maintenance.
PP BOXES, PP PLATES, PP PROFILES AND OTHER SOLID WASTE
This is mainly bulky packaging waste, collected from supermarkets or landfills, possibly containing various contaminants. The process of grinding and washing is generally less demanding than in the previously mentioned cases. The MAPA ReTech friction washing machine achieves extremely good results
in the washing process in which the material is subjected to a dynamic friction process without even minimal degradation of the material.
One of the more significant steps is separation in flotation basins where thermoplastic fractions are separated according to specific density. PO fractions are separated from fractions with densities > 1 g/cm³. The MST series of the MAPA ReTech flotation tank is an extremely high-quality solution for this specific separation process.
